2016 Spectrum Awards Recognize Best Marketing from Northwest Credit Unions

NWCUA’s Spectrum Awards recognized the best of marketing, public relations, and communications by Northwest credit unions late last week. Thirty-nine awards were presented following dinner and drinks in a packed Hotel Monaco ballroom full of nominees from around the Northwest.

The best marketing efforts from credit unions around the Northwest were recognized at the 2016 Spectrum Awards. More than 90 entries were judged by a panel of marketing, journalism, and public relations experts from around the nation. 18 credit unions took home the 39 awards in front of a record-setting dinner crowd at a Hotel Monaco ballroom in Portland on April 7.

The credit unions were judged in categories including branding, annual reports, broadcast media, collective action marketing, newsletters, new media, and public relations. Entries included print, broadcast, and digital content.

The full list of winners and categories is below, including the recognition for Verity Credit Union (Seattle), which took home Spectrum Cup and Best in Show, which honors the highest single-scoring entry.
