Meet Eric Horvath, NWCUA Communications Manager

Eric Horvath brings a decade of communications, advocacy and trade association experience to the NWCUA. Horvath has served in communications roles for political candidates in Southwest Washington and in Philadelphia, PA. He served as Communications Manager for the Irrigation Association in Virginia, and most recently as Director of Communications for Philadelphia City Councilman Bobby Henon.

“Think of Eric as a ‘chief storyteller’ who will track the Northwest credit union movement through a variety of media, including social media and the Anthem newsletter,” said Lynn Heider, Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for the NWCUA. “He’s a go-to resource for Northwest credit union professionals wanting to share their news.”

“I’m thrilled to join NWCUA, both as a communicator but also as a proud credit union member,” said Horvath, adding that story telling is the “heart” of strong advocacy.

“Northwest credit unions have been doing some great work for a long time, and I’m looking forward to bringing those stories out.”
