Judges Approve 39 Spectrum Marketing Awards

A panel of marketing, journalism, and public relations experts from around the nation recently completed judging more than 90 entries in the Northwest Credit Union Association’s Spectrum Marketing Awards program. The verdict: 18 credit unions will make their way to the red carpet in Portland, April 7.

The credit unions are being notified this week that they are winners, but whether they are receiving first or second place honors, the Spectrum Cup or Best in Show awards, won’t be announced until the NWCUA’s annual Spectrum Marketing Awards gala dinner. The event will be held at the Hotel Monaco in Portland. Registration is open online.

The Spectrum Marketing Awards dinner is part of a trio of events programmed specifically for CEOs and marketers. Earlier on April 7, the NWCUA and CUES present the Leadership Symposium, which includes an in depth review of the cost of the regulatory burden, real estate asset strategies, and a high level dive into the digital finance revolution; a FinTech panel featuring Finovate’s founder, Eric Mattson. The following day, the annual Marketers’ Conference features Christopher Morris from the National Credit Union Foundation, who presents on the concept of using the cooperative principles to grow credit unions, and Taylor Wells, from On the Mark Strategies, who will present the membership growth recipe. Registration to all three events is open online
