The year’s first face-to-face opportunity for credit union CEOs to network is January 21, when the Northwest Credit Union Association kicks off its 2016 Town Hall Series at the Columbia Credit Union Operations Center, 200 SE Park Plaza Drive in Vancouver.
“Town Halls strengthen collaborative bonds and align the Northwest Credit Union Movement with the policy advancement and public awareness strategies credit unions have asked us to lead,” noted NWCUA President and CEO Troy Stang.
Town Halls present CEOs the opportunity to collaborate with peers, and to engage with NWCUA Executives and leadership team. Stang said the agenda for the first meeting will include high level credit union movement updates and information about new programs available to member credit unions.
The Vancouver Town Hall, scheduled from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. presents an opportunity as well to prepare for upcoming advocacy events scheduled in February including CUNA GAC, Credit Union Day at the Capitol in Olympia and Credit Union Day at the Capitol in Salem.
For credit union leaders who cannot attend the Vancouver Town Hall, there are many other opportunities in April, May and June, hosted at credit unions conveniently located throughout Washington and Oregon.
Town Hall attendance is complimentary for CEOs of Association member credit unions, and registration is available online.
