Come one, come all, to one of the best and biggest Northwest credit union chapter events of the year! You’re invited to the Mt. Hood Chapter’s annual Turkey Shoot to benefit the Clackamas Service Center. The event is a fantastic way to catch up with your credit union colleagues and business partners, while enjoying a delicious meal and helping a wonderful charity.
“The Turkey Shoot is a credit union tradition here in the Northwest,” said Steve Pagenstecher, President of the Mt. Hood Chapter of Credit Unions. “It’s an incredibly diverse group of credit union professionals and partners doing what we do best—coming together for the benefit of our community.”
The event is more than a delicious meal and drinks—attendees have a chance to win a turkey just in time for the holidays… or to donate it back to the Clackamas Service Center to use in their services. There will also be raffle items, including by popular demand, two sets of Blanchet House-built Adirondack chairs, graciously donated by Clackamas Federal Credit Union and Providence Federal Credit Union, as well as 50/50 tickets and more. So make sure to bring your checkbook, debit/credit card, or some extra cash to participate and boost the fundraising efforts.
A big thank you to all of the sponsors of this year’s event, especially this year’s premier sponsor, Enterprise Car Sales.
Proceeds from this year’s event benefit your Mt. Hood Chapter and, more importantly, the Clackamas Service Center (CSC). CSC is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) that is dedicated to helping homeless and low income individuals and families live a healthy lifestyle since 1973. They provide critical services designed to promote self-sufficiency. The Mt. Hood Chapter will gladly collect clothing, toiletry and monetary donations (cash, check and debit/credit) at the event as well. Learn more about CSC at www.cscoregon.org.
Tickets are available at by clicking here. The Mt. Hood Chapter is still seeking additional sponsors for this event—if interested, please contact Cliff Witherspoon at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more on the Mt. Hood Chapter, visit their Facebook page.
