Free Orientation Prepares You to Teach Financial Education

Financial Beginnings believes that you’re never too young to learn how to effectively manage your money. Over the last decade, the organization has developed and delivered a series of free education programs that empower youth and adults in the Pacific Northwest to take control of their financial futures today.

The group is calling for new volunteers to attend free orientations in Oregon, which will prepare them to offer quality financial education.

The Financial Beginnings team pride themselves on having a very simple, full-service approach to program delivery. Schools and community groups register for their programs online. Trained volunteers visit the same website and select which programs they would like to teach.

They then deliver learning materials before the program date. These learning materials comply with the Common Core State Standards set forth by both Oregon and Washington.

Upcoming volunteer orientations include:

  • Medford, OR | November 3 | 8:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Grants Pass, OR | November 5 | 9-11 a.m.
  • Eugene, OR | November 6 | 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Pendleton, OR | November 17 | 8:30-10:30 a.m.
