Northwest Credit Union Association Unveils Online Dating Site…and More

The Northwest Credit Union Association on Tuesday launched a dramatically more intuitive and responsive website for its wholly owned subsidiary, Strategic Link. The new website makes it easier than ever for Northwest credit unions to find the best strategic partners — vendors who provide income opportunities and efficiencies in areas like card services, human resources, mobile banking and much more.

Working with gira{ph} creative, a design agency specializing in credit union marketing, NWCUA created the new website with the needs of its members and strategic partners in mind. The result is a website that is visually pleasing, easy to navigate, and allows relationships to be forged with a click of a mouse.

Central to the new site is an innovative new feature called CU Matchup. Using CU Matchup, a member credit union simply answers a few short questions, and CU Matchup generates partner recommendations to fit the credit union’s specific goals and needs.

“Forging lasting relationships with the right strategic partners to best serve your members is now easier than ever with our new Strategic Link website,” said NWCUA Chief Operating Officer Denise Gabel. “You can think of it like a dating site for credit unions. Except, we’ve already done the work of choosing only the best partners, so you can be sure that when you find a match, it’s going to pay off.”

Also featured on the new site is betaSpace®, Strategic Link’s initiative to bring the best startups in financial technology to the Northwest credit union market as preferred partners. Through betaSpace®, NWCUA members can access the latest breakthroughs in financial technology with partners pre-vetted by the Strategic Link team.

Strategic Link is the NWCUA’s collaborative hub connecting credit unions with business solutions partners. Through Strategic Link, Northwest Credit Union Association members have more than twenty strategic partnerships at their fingertips, providing assistance in card services, consulting, human resources, insurance, lending, member services, mobile banking and much more.

Visit the brand new Strategic Link website, try CU Matchup and browse our cutting edge betaSpace® partners. If you’d like more information on Strategic Link and the new website, please contact NWCUA Director of Strategic Partnerships Craig Reed at or 206.340.4789.
