Northwest Credit Union Association, League of Southeastern Credit Unions Partner to Provide HR Services to Northwest Credit Unions 

SeaTac, WA-TIGARD, OR/BIRMINGHAM, AL/TALLAHASSEE, FL — Strategic Link, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA), and LEVERAGE, an affiliate of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU), announce a unique partnership to provide enhanced human resource services to Northwest credit unions. Through the collaboration, LEVERAGE’s HRx will bring solutions to northwest credit unions such as talent recruiting, background screens, confidential employee surveys, and HR consulting services.

HRx in the Northwest will be led by Jason Neifield, who will be based in the Strategic Link office in SeaTac. Neifield is a seasoned HR consultant and talent recruiting specialist. He joined the LSCU in 2011 as the Human Resources Director. Before joining the LSCU, Neifield was a branch manager and HR Generalist for Grow Financial FCU in Tampa.

“What’s unique about this partnership is the way that it’s structured,” said NWCUA COO Denise Gabel. “Jason’s time is split between the two associations—much like a job share. We’re sharing Jason’s talent to assist both associations’ credit unions.”

“Our credit unions are asking for assistance in finding the right talent,” said NWCUA President and CEO Troy Stang. “Growing and sharing talent at the association level makes sense for our credit unions. We will continue to look for ways to increase efficiency and drive real value to the credit union system.”

The HRx agreement is the first step in a longer term plan by the Northwest Credit Union Association to expand consulting services to meet the needs of its member credit unions, which have requested assistance in areas such as strategic planning, marketing, financial analysis, merger discussions and project management.
