See the Next Wave of Fintech Innovations at Finovate

This coming May, 70 financial technology (fintech) companies will demo their latest innovations for a crowd of financial services leaders at the FinovateSpring conference in San Jose, California. The NWCUA is inviting Northwest credit unions to join them at Finovate to evaluate the fintech offerings and identify the best technological solution to give credit unions a competitive edge.

Early registration for FinovateSpring is available now through December 12 on the conference website and offers a $400 discount.

Each fintech company at Finovate gets seven minutes to demo their products, followed by networking sessions designed to give financial services leaders the chance to build one-on-one connections with fintech innovators.

Finovate is a strategic connection to the fintech market, allowing Northwest credit unions to be the first to see the next wave of financial technologies. Through its Strategic Link subsidiary and betaSpace program, the NWCUA introduces Northwest credit unions to new technological opportunities.

“When they join us at Finovate, our members can help identify the best potential fintech partners for Northwest credit unions,” said Craig Reed, NWCUA’s director of strategic partnerships. “Their input is essential in helping us choose the best products and services to bring back to the Northwest.”

Last year, a group of Northwest credit union leaders joined the NWCUA at FinovateSpring in San Jose to evaluate the latest offerings.

“Finovate for me was an amazing fast paced experience to see first-hand the new and cutting technology for the financial services industry,” said Jared Dance, community development manager at TwinStar Credit Union. “It was stepping into the future of finance with unique, innovative companies challenging conventional perception, insight, and thought. A great way to see what could be applicable at the credit union.”

With the October launch of betaSpace, Strategic Link’s marketplace for fintech startups, the coming Finovate promises to be the most impactful yet for Northwest credit unions.
