CUNA Seeks Young, Enthusiastic Blogger

A recent article in TIME magazine cites research showing that 63% of millennials do not have a single credit card, and 65% think that carrying a balance improves your credit score.

The research adds to a growing body of evidence that the millennial generation, which includes Americans born between 1980 and 2000, are coming of age with remarkably low levels of financial literacy.

CUNA has created MoneyMix, a financial information website for millennials, to be part of the solution. And right now they are looking for the next young, enthusiastic blogger to join the MoneyMix team.

MoneyMix bloggers take their own struggles and successes with money — sticking to a budget, buying a car, saving for the future — and turn them into fun, informative stories for MoneyMix’s millennial readership.

Bloggers are paid for their work and gain valuable writing experience. The ideal candidate is young — either still in college or recently graduated — and has a unique, engaging voice, taking their personal experiences and drawing out the universal lessons.
