Credit unions have helping people in their genes. On September 10 you have the chance to help people by wearing your jeans, too.
Miracle Jeans Day is the next Credit Unions for Kids national fundraising campaign, supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). Credit union employees around the country are donating $5 to their local CMNH hospital to wear jeans for the day of September 10, or $25 to wear jeans and get a special Miracle Jeans Day t-shirt designed for credit unions.
CMNH raises money for 170 children’s hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. “Together,” says their vision, “we save kids’ lives.”
The credit union movement chose CMNH as its charity of choice and founded Credit Unions for Kids in 1986. The movement has raised over $100 million for the life-saving care CMNH makes possible and has become the organization’s third largest donor.
Do you or your employees already wear jeans to work? No problem! Credit Unions for Kids suggests throwing a theme day for your employees with the same $5 donation buy-in. Popular theme days from past year include Miracle Hat Day, Miracle Jersey Day, and Miracle Flip Flop Day. Choose something your team will love!
Did you know:
- Your support helps provide 32 million patient visits for 10 million kids every year.
- One in 10 kids in North America is treated by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year.
- Every day, member hospitals treat 16,000 children in emergency rooms.
- As always, your entire donation will go directly to your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital!
