CO-OP Financial Services Offers Wide Range of Access and Convenience Services

Credit union members expect the same convenience and reach that the largest banks offer, with anytime access through a variety of channels. With CO-OP Financial Services, credit unions can offer the latest technology to level the playing field.

Shared Branching

CO-OP Shared Branching, which connects members to the fourth-largest branch channel in the nation (compared to the largest banks) with more than 5,000 branches, offers members convenience whether they are traveling, working or shopping. Shared branching gives credit unions the competitive edge they need to keep pace with their members’ financial convenience needs by providing the confidence of a face-to-face transaction in a branch wherever their day may take them.

Remote Deposit

With CO-OP My Deposit Home, members can deposit checks into their account from the comfort of their home by using a common scanner and computer. Also a great option for small business owners, CO-OP My Deposit Small Business enables a high-speed scanner to be used to quickly deposit large batches of checks, saving members time by not having to visit a branch each time they need to deposit a check. This same convenience is also extended to credit unions with CO-OP My Deposit Branch, which allows any credit union branch to easily submit deposited checks electronically through Remote Deposit Capture (RDC).

CO-OP’s newest remote deposit technology, CO-OP My Deposit Mobile, enables Apple iPhone users to snap a picture of a check using their phone to make deposits from virtually anywhere. Not only does this product offer a more convenient way for members to do their banking, it also helps in solidifying checking account relationships, reduces teller lines, and leverages state-of-the art technology in an easy-to-implement solution.

NextGen ATM

CO-OP NextGen ATM, an industry first, gives credit unions the ability to optimize their ATM channel and capital expenditures by using their current ATM fleet to support traditional ATM transactions and shared branching transactions. While giving members more ways to manage their accounts at their convenience, the product promotes in-branch efficiency because staff is freed to concentrate on more complex revenue activities.

CO-OP NextGen ATM also provides an additional source of acquirer interchange revenue for credit unions, as they may now extend shared branch transactions to the nearly 1,800 credit unions and 32 million members in the CO-OP Shared Branching network.

Mobile Banking

CO-OP Mobile provides an economical and innovative mobile banking solution for credit unions. CO-OP Mobile, which is compatible with more than 100 devices, has recently expanded with a new multi-mode platform supporting text banking, a mobile Web browser and downloadable applications to supported devices, including iPhones. It allows any credit union that is participating in shared branching through NGN to offer mobile banking to itsr members on a small per-transaction basis.

Call Center

CO-OP Member Center allows you to expand your reach even further by providing more-robust lending and member-service capabilities. Access to the CO-OP Member Center call center gives members round-the-clock attention while solving credit union capacity problems. With an existing NGN connection, getting started on Member Services and Lending Services is easy, with minimal implementation and back-end management requirements. Each credit union can get the call center solution that best fits its needs with CO-OP Member Center, whether it’s complete outsourcing or handling overflow calls.
