Christopher Bradberry has been named president of Fibre Federal Credit Union, effective immediately. Larry Hoff will remain the credit union’s chief executive officer, the credit union announced this week.
Bradberry has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including stints with State Farm Insurance Credit Unions and California Republic Bank. He joined Fibre Federal in 2002 as its chief financial officer; most recently, he served as chief operating officer.
Bradberry earned his bachelor’s degree in business/human resources from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. While at Fibre Federal, he has overseen the building and completion of a 43,000-square-foot operations center, guided a core-system search and selection, and helped the credit union navigate through several organizational changes.
He has served on the board of directors of the Southwest Washington chapter of the American Red Cross for five years, and on Fibre Federal’s planning committee for the “Credit Union Ride and Rock” fundraiser for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital since its inception.
“I am deeply honored and humbled by the confidence that the board and Larry have shown in my abilities to be part of Fibre Federal’s amazing senior management team for years to come,” Bradberry said. “I have worked for several fantastic organizations in my career, and I have to say that Fibre Federal stands out at the top of the list. I look forward to accomplishing a long list of initiatives that our team has planned for 2014.”
Hoff joined Fibre Federal in 2001 as president and CEO. During his tenure, the Longview credit union expanded its field of membership into Oregon and northwest Washington. Fibre Federal now serves more than 70,000 members, with total assets of more than $750 million.
“The board of directors recognized Chris’ contributions to our credit union’s success,” Hoff said. “Their vote of confidence is shared by me as we honor Chris with the title of president.”
