Network Administrator

Columbia Credit Union is seeking a Network Administrator (FT) to interface with staff to resolve network (data and voice) related issues. This role will employ a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. The individual will coordinate and monitor network security, new applications, software upgrades, while monitoring daily activity, enforcing licensing agreements, maintaining a strong storage management program, and providing routine backups.

Minimum requirements for the position include, but are not limited to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable. Excellent interpersonal/written and verbal skills focused on strong team outcomes. Ability to lead, and work on multiple projects and understand business needs, in a cross-functional environment. Three to four years in IT role with emphasis on LAN/WAN design, operations, and user interfaces, firewall security, server replication, and mail delivery.

Knowledge and experience with virtualization, SAN technology (VMWare, EMC, VDI, etc.), email, and relevant platforms (Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, etc.). Significant hands-on working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, remote connectivity, T1, routing protocols, etc. Minimum two years’ of installation experience in PC or client/server platform environment. Minimum two years of network administration for medium-size environment (5 to 15 servers, 200 to 1,000 users)
