The NWCUA’s new Oregon offices will be located in the Triangle Corporate Park at 13221 S.W. 68th Ave. Suite 410, Tigard, OR 97223.
The Northwest Credit Union Association, committed to an office presence in each of the states where it represents credit unions, will move its Oregon office four miles south of its existing Beaverton location to a more efficient Tigard office in February 2014. The new location will provide easier access from major freeways and enjoy high-speed fiber optics that will power a multi-site operation.
The new fourth-floor offices, located at 13221 S.W. 68th Ave. in Tigard, sit in a triangle formed in part by the intersection of I-5 and Hwy. 217, with convenient access from either freeway. There is ample parking, and a variety of hotels and restaurants are nearby.
“This move really is focused on serving our members,” says Denise Gabel, the Association’s chief operating officer. “We’re committed to truly being a multi-state organization, and this will allow our member credit unions to connect easily with their Association.”
Earlier this year, the Association relocated its Washington offices to a facility across the street from Sea-Tac Airport, with convenient access to light rail and major freeways. “The multi-state office structure has helped the NWCUA attract the best talent,” says Troy Stang, NWCUA president and CEO, and “while locating team members in either state, we’ve maximized the space planning and efficiency.”
The new Oregon offices, much like the Washington office, will house a cross-functional mix of the Association’s team. An expanded conference room will make it easier to leverage video-conferencing technology for committee and council meetings.
Space planning is already under way, Gabel says, with occupancy scheduled for Feb. 1.
