Autoland Launches Optimized Website for Mobile Devices

Autoland’s website is now easier to use on mobile devices.

With smartphone use surging, Autoland, Inc. has launched an optimized mobile version of its website to meet the research and shopping needs of car buyers.

The auto-buying CUSO says it has seen a 67-percent jump in mobile traffic to its website in the last year.

“With nearly four out of five new vehicle buyers conducting online research during the shopping process and 23 percent of those shoppers using a smartphone to access this information, implementing a mobile strategy has been a priority for us this year,” says Autoland, Inc. President Jeffry Martin.

“We know that mobile shoppers have specific service expectations,” Martin says, “and our optimized site makes it easy for them to research new vehicles, search pre-owned cars, calculate monthly payments, and get credit union financing information.”

Unlike a mobile application that requires users to download software to their mobile device, Autoland’s optimized website is automatically presented through the phone’s web browser. The site was designed to deliver a pleasing user experience, with key features such as a streamlined mobile interface and full chat capability with Autoland representatives.

“Once members are in the market for a car, they are immediately going online to start the process,” Martin says. “We believe that making it easy for them to shop with us via mobile devices will have a positive impact on our lead volume and the auto loan retention rate for our credit union partners.”
