National Credit Union Administration (NCUA)
The NCUA released joint guidance to credit unions regarding Microsoft’s discontinuation of support for Windows XP.
The NCUA announced that it will host a free webinar entitled “Risk-Based Lending-More than a Loan Pricing Tool” on Oct. 22 at 11 a.m.
The NCUA issued a joint announcement with other federal regulatory agencies to encourage credit unions to work with members affected by the federal government shutdown.
The NCUA released Letter to Credit Unions 13-CU-09 which details changes to the NCUA examination report.
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
The CFPB released guidance addressing mortgage lenders’ compliance with HMDA. The release provides guidance for compliance with HMDA, announces the Bureau’s HMDA resubmission schedule and guidelines, and discusses the factors that the Bureau may consider when evaluating whether to pursue a public HMDA enforcement action.
Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)
The FHFA announced that the joint venture between Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to build and operate a new common securitization platform has reached some important milestones.
Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
OFAC has updated the SDN list as of Oct. 7. The last update prior to this was Sept. 24.
