Here is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Intelligence Team at one of the largest credit unions in the country. Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU), located in Olympia WA, is a $1.7+ billion dollar, rapidly growing financial institution with 18 branches. This new role will be highly visible and will work with line of business leaders across the organization. We are looking for an experienced individual with a solid understanding of how to transform raw data into a valuable analytical resource for WSECU.
The BI Developer / Analyst position includes, but is not limited to, working with business leaders, end users, and Business Systems Analysts to capture business requirements; designs and manages the BI tools and applications environment; configures BI tools, develops the semantic layer and creates reports and report definitions; creates and delivers training and documentation and provides second-line support to users; serves as a liaison between end users and project teams; troubleshoots problems; works with end users to determine needs and recommends appropriate scope of requirements.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics or related field, with an emphasis on data analysis and data management is required and four years of financial industry experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be a highly analytical data junkie who will be able to provide a creative and innovative approach to solving problems. They will have an understanding of software development, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts; familiarity with Microsoft’s Business Intelligence tools is preferred. This position is located in our Olympia Corporate Headquarters; 330 Union Ave, Olympia, WA 98501.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, minimum 40 hours a week. Scheduling flexibility is required.
