VP of Retail Lending
Assist senior management in achieving strategic goals. In conjunction with CLO and Lending Managers, establish and monitor efficiency standards for all functions and staff to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing and servicing of Mortgage, Consumer, and Indirect loans. Develop and implement related policies, procedures, and workflows. Ensure service to members, branch and other production staff are delivered promptly, professionally and efficiently. Responsible for leading and developing a strong team that can handle a diverse workload due to the wide range of loan products being serviced. Establish and maintain commitments and professional business relationships with employees, members, vendors, the community, professional organizations, and Credit Union trade organizations.
Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 5 years management experience. Ten or more years of progressive loan underwriting experience in a bank or credit union, with a preference for experience in indirect auto, real estate and commercial lending. Knowledge in financial institution products, services, and policies. Also, knowledge in government regulations and legal requirements involving lending, collections, insurance, and related functions.
