HORIZON CREDIT UNION is a growing financial institution with 18 locations in WA, ID and MT, and is currently seeking an experienced Security & Fraud Prevention Officer to join our team at our headquarters in the Spokane Valley.
QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this position, applicants should have an associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or at least 2 years related BSA/Financial Institution fraud and security experience and/or training. Related work experience may substitute for education.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) compliance. Develops and maintains relevant policies and procedures. Serves as point of contact for branch and/or department staff in BSA, OFAC and fraud situations. Coordinates, develops and administers the physical security of the credit union branch and administration locations. Conducts and/or assists with security awareness training of staff. Serves as credit union Physical Security Officer and maintains appropriate level of internal controls. BSA and Fraud Prevention equates to approximately 80% of time, and Physical Security at 20%.
