A.B. Stoddard has a front row seat to all things Capitol Hill. She’s the associate editor of The Hill—the must-read news source for and about Congress. The Hill doesn’t merely report on happenings in Washington; it defines the issues and influences the way the powerful make critical decisions.
Stoddard’s style is direct.
“Buy a ticket and have a seat,” she wrote in a recent edition. “The curtain is up on the GOP’s implosion as high-profile Republicans considered future leaders and presidential contenders insult and accuse ether other…”
Stoddard brings her insight to Amplify Convention—the Northwest’s largest annual gathering of credit union leaders and their business partners. Presented by the Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA), Amplify is scheduled Oct. 8-10 at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower.
Stoddard takes center stage for a keynote presentation Thursday, Oct. 10.
Stoddard’s inside look at Washington is timely for credit union professionals as regulatory relief and the tax exemption are in play at the federal level. Amplify will also take a deep dive into what makes credit unions relevant to consumers on Main Street.
The Strategic Link Trade Show will connect credit unions with their business solutions partners.
Two social highlights celebrating the best of the credit union movement include the Boardwalk of Miracles dinner and auction benefitting Credit Unions for Kids, and the Summit Awards dinner and gala, honoring credit union communities and professionals for innovation and social impact.
Amplify registration is available online.
