National Credit Union Administration (NCUA)
The NCUA has released its July 2013 issue of the NCUA Report.
The NCUA announced that it was changing certain states regional office assignments. With this change, California will return to Region V.
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
The CFPB has delivered its first Financial Literacy Report to Congress.
Federal Reserve Board (FRB)
The FRB published a paper based on information obtained from a survey on older adults. The paper discusses how older adults handle their financial responsibilities, their source of financial stress, and how they make financial decisions.
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
HUD has published a proposed rule to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing (AFFH).
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)
The FDIC announced that it will hold a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Community Banking on July 25. The meeting is open to the public and will include discussions on community bank initiatives, payment system developments and, IT examination issues.
U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury)
The Treasury released a summary of the new federal garnishment rules.
Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC)
The FFIEC has released its updated Geocoding system, based on 2013 data.
Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
The OCC released a statement discussing fraudulent correspondence being issued in the name of the OCC. The release instructs individuals that obtain these letters to contact the OCC directly to verify the legitimacy of the letter(s).
Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
OFAC has updated the SDN list as of July 24, 2013. The last update prior to this was July 23, 2013.
