Metsger Nomination to NCUA Board on Senate Agenda June 27

The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs will conduct an open hearing June 27 to consider President Barack Obama’s nomination of former Oregon State Senator Rick Metsger to fill a vacancy on the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board of Directors.

The hearing is set for 10:00 a.m.  Information is available online.

Metsger was nominated for the board vacancy by President Obama in May.

Metsger’s nomination is being considered at the same time the Committee considers nominations of five others for positions with the Federal Housing Finance Agency, Council of Economic Affairs, and Securities and Exchange Commission.
