Sound Credit Union, a dynamic, progressive-minded state chartered credit union, is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join our headquarters in downtown Tacoma. Sound Credit Union has over $1B in assets, a membership base of over 100,000, and 21 branches throughout King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Thurston counties.
The primary role of the Senior Network Administrator is to administer, maintain, monitor, repair and optimize the LAN/WAN and SQL, and other databases for optimal performance. Ensure compliance with SQL server and application tool licensing. Install, upgrade, configure, and tune network access to databases (i.e. SQL*Net, ODBC, Sharepoint , etc). Administer and maintain all telecommunications equipment and services, including but not limited to, T1 circuits, analog telephone lines, and digital Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephone system. Provide installation updates, maintenance, modification, repairs, and troubleshooting support for computer hardware, software, phones, and automated service delivery systems. Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux Operating System servers. Research, analyze, develop, test, and recommend innovative ways to use existing and new information technologies, as well as enhancing network security; review newly proposed IT systems and network design and configuration changes to ensure compliance with internal security policies, standards and best practices.
We offer a professional work environment with a competitive salary and benefits plan. Hiring range is $62,500.00-$78,125.00 annual equivalent (DOE).
