IT Support Specialist I

Sound Credit Union, a dynamic, progressive-minded state chartered credit union, is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to join our headquarters in downtown Tacoma.  Sound Credit Union has over $1B in assets, a membership base of over 100,000, and 21 branches throughout King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Thurston counties.

The primary role of the Information Technology Support Specialist I is to provide first level Help Desk functions for end users of the credit union in a friendly, respectful, courteous, and professional manner.  Perform daily processing.  Perform software and hardware installation; performs routine back-up procedures.  Coordinate user problem resolution with other resources/personnel/vendors, and report recurring problems.  Fulfill requests for PC and phone relocations.  Set up and configure PCs for Credit Union staff.
