Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)

The CFPB has released small entity compliance guides for the Reg Z Escrow Requirements, HOEPA, Ability to Repay and Qualified Mortgage Standards, Appraisals for HPMLs, and Reg B Appraisals.

The CFPB has announced the issuance of a proposal to delay the June 1st effective date of the prohibition regarding the financing credit insurance.


Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN)

FinCEN has published its 23rd issue of The SAR Activity Review.


Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)

The FHFA issued a news release stating that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will only purchase qualified mortgages beginning January 10, 2014.


Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

The FTC has stated that it will retain the July 1, 2013 date for implementation of the updated COPPA Rule.   


Department of the Treasury

The Treasury announced that the processing location for all federal government ACH reclamations will change to the Philadelphia Financial Center effective June 3, 2013.  


Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)

OFAC has updated the SDN list as of May 07, 2013. The last update prior to this was May 02, 2013.
