Strategic Link Question of the Week

Our credit union just enrolled in the newest program by Invest in America (IIA) – Credit Union Auto Club. We see a lot of potential with this program, especially with our members that are taking out new auto loans. Is the program available to all credit union members, or only to those who have taken out an auto loan with us? And would this have any impact on our non-interest income from these accounts?
All members of participating (enrolled) credit unions are eligible to purchase Credit Union Auto Club memberships, regardless of whether or not the vehicles were financed through the credit union, and your non-interest income is based on the member’s participation, not on the auto loan.
We are glad that your credit union is taking advantage of one of the many services and programs offered by our endorsed business partners, and we are confident that our preferred service providers will contribute to the success of your credit union.
