Association Town Hall Series Underway

As part of the Northwest Credit Union Association’s (NWCUA’s) commitment to face-to-face contact and an ongoing open dialogue with the region’s credit unions, a roving series of eight Town Hall Meetings has been scheduled for 2013, giving credit union leadership in the Northwest an opportunity to voice concerns and discuss current issues with President and CEO Troy Stang, COO Denise Gabel and other Association staff.

The Association’s board of directors will host the regional meetings—one in each of the eight geographic districts—in an effort to make attendance as convenient as possible. The District 5 meeting will take place on June 11 at Pacific NW Federal Credit Union in Portland, Ore.

All CEOs are encouraged to attend at least one Town Hall Meeting this year and to bring another senior leader as well.

“The Town Halls are a great opportunity for a frank conversation between leaders in our region’s credit union movement,” said NWCUA Director of Member Relations Brandi Gleason. “Members should come prepared with concerns and ideas—and to learn more about some exciting tools and resources we are in the process of developing.”
