Responsible for performing network administrative duties including setting up new users, assisting users with network access, and resolving connection problems. Installs, upgrades and backs up new software. Monitors network utilization and security systems. Provides technical support to end users, answers questions, and prepares network training sessions as needed. Maintains activity logs and makes recommendations for new network products. Notifies supervisor of significant problems and recurring errors in operating system.
To assist the VP of Information and Technology and OCCU’s management team with information and technology system solutions and employ due diligence in ensuring all processes are performed accurately and completely which support OCCU’s goals and objectives, and compliment the CU’s existing infrastructure(s).
Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, devices, and technologies: Cisco, Brocade, Firewalls (ASA), intrusion detection and prevention, VLANs, VPN, wireless controller and access points, DNS, load balancers, proxies, QOS, POE.
Implement and maintain monitoring and automation technologies Solarwinds and Dell Kace. Experience with Microsoft Office Suites and server systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
We offer competitive compensation package, salary range is $42,622.78 to $63,934.17 per year DOE. We also offer full benefits as well as a generous 401K program.
