Mobile Member Consultant

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced service environment with lots of variety in your daily tasks, there is a perfect career opportunity for you.  The Service Delivery Department seeks a Mobile Member Consultant with superior operational skills to support Credit Union branches throughout the state. 

The successful candidate will provide consumer lending, new and deposit accounts, and general teller services in WSECU’s 18-branch network.  The Mobile Member Consultant will travel to branches to provide relief in most branch functions and committed to delivering exceptional member service in all locations; he or she will thrive on the challenge of adapting to each branch’s unique workforce and culture on assignments ranging from a day to several weeks.

If you are an energetic self-starter who adjusts quickly and happily to changes of scene and have a passion for delivering top-notch service, this position was designed with you in mind.  This non-exempt position offers a monthly salary of $3,194 – $4,378 plus an excellent benefits package.

This position will remain open until filled.

HOURS:  Monday – Friday, minimum 40 hours per week.  Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate service needs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION:

Required – High school level or greater. Two years experience in a financial institution or in a retail or service related position including lending, new accounts or a combination.  Must be registered or able to become registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System as required by SAFE Act upon hire and annually thereafter.

Preferred – Credit Union experience and understanding of financial regulations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Required – Effective listening skills and positive attitude.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to analyze and interpret members’ statements.  Analytical, decision making, strong self management skills and problem solving ability.  Excellent follow-through ability and attention to detail.  Flexibility in traveling from branch to branch across the state.  Strong ability to cross-sell products and services.  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding Sales and Service Culture.

Preferred – Sales/customer service and communication training.  Knowledge of financial documents and terms.  Willingness to travel across the state.
