The NCUA announced the release of its National Supervision Policy Manual to the public.

Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)

The OFAC list has been updated.  The last update was Nov. 5, 2012.

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)

The FDIC announced that it will hold a meeting of its Advisory Committee on Community Banking today. This meeting is being held to address issues raised at the Banker Roundtables held across the country earlier this year. The committee will also discuss policy and examination issues.

Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

The FTC announced a joint law enforcement effort against companies using deceptive robocalls. In many of these calls, the robocaller is pitching a bogus opportunity for a cardholder to reduce his or her interest rate.

Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC)

The FFIEC issued a press release regarding its revised Supervision of Technology Service Providers booklet, which is part of the IT Handbook.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

The IRS, in a joint release with the Treasury, announced that the agencies will waive low-income housing tax credit rules that prohibit owners of low-income housing from providing housing to victims of the recent hurricane who would not normally qualify as low-income.

Oregon State Department of Consumer & Business Services (DCBS)

The DCBS issued a statement regarding the importance of insurance policies (particularly flood) in light of the recent hurricane that devastated the East Coast.

Washing State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI)

The DFI published a rulemaking update that details the proposal of new education requirements for SAFE Act licensing (for those required to completed the education credits).
