The Lending Administration Manager is a key member of our Consumer Lending Division Leadership Team. This exempt position is responsible for overseeing two service related teams comprised of 7 employees. Both teams operate as subject matter experts and serve as a resource to front-line staff for consumer loan questions related to the loan origination/collection systems, insurance products, reconveyances/subordinations, and interpretation of loan policies and procedures. They are responsible for the centralized administration of Payment Protection, Warranties and GAP products, as well as securing consumer loan collateral properly (i.e. titles, deeds of trust, UCC’s).
This position oversees Lending Division initiatives as they relate to product development, process improvements, policy updates, line of business testing, and loan rate changes; supports the Division by managing and maintaining a variety of software systems; maintains and monitors all consumer loan forms and ensures all compliance & regulatory changes are implemented timely and accurately throughout multiple delivery channels. Ensures subject matter expert level knowledge amongst direct reports and is responsible for managing all department personnel and the daily activities of the Lending Administration and the Loan Support Services Teams. The Lending Administration Manager reports to the Assistant Vice President of Loan Servicing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required: B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent work or educational experience. Five or more years in a financial institution or comparable work or educational experience, with at least 1 year experience providing technical support for lending and/or collection software systems. Three or more years of supervisor or manager experience. Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; ability to research and compile information for the purpose of formulating recommendations; proficient PC, math and budgeting skills. Ability to work both independently and as a team member. Project management experience preferred.
HOURS: Monday – Friday, minimum 40 hours a week. Scheduling flexibility is required for this exempt position.
SALARY: $4,412 – $6,050 per month DOQ plus an excellent benefits package.
