Information Technology Director

Position Summary:

Develops and implements effective Information Technology strategies, policies, and procedures. Effectively supervises the Information Technology Department. Ensures Information Technology security and supports the Credit Union’s disaster recovery program. Performs IT Functions, Increases knowledge and skills through group and self-directed training, Establishes and maintains effective and professional business relationships with members, credit union staff and management.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Five years of related experience required. Two years of supervisory experience required. Technical planning and project management experience required. Advanced knowledge in computer and server hardware; software including Microsoft Office products; LAN and WAN communications; and telecommunications systems. Knowledge of the following areas is required: business and management principles, practical application of technology, principles and methods for training and managing human resources. Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other IT professionals as well as non-technical users required.
