CUBE TV Compliance Videos Come to NWCUA InfoSight

Have you ever wished someone would explain a regulatory change to you in a short simple video? If so, this is one wish that has been granted.

The Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) is proud to announce that CUBE TV Compliance Videos are now available through InfoSight. CUBE TV provides many various online videos that discuss important topics for credit unions, including a regularly updated selection of compliance videos.

The September video covers the recently issued National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) guidance on mortgage servicing practices that impact servicemembers. August covered the new requirements for interest rate risk (IRR) program and policy, and July was the new troubled debt restructuring (TDR) and workout loan requirements.

Each video provides an overview of the issue, the requirements, and information on what credit unions should be doing to comply with the requirement.

CUBE TV also provides quarterly compliance and regulatory issue reviews. Other past compliance videos covered topics such as guidance on reporting interest paid to nonresident aliens, allowances for loan and lease losses (ALLL), remittance transfers, and flood insurance.

To access the videos, sign into InfoSight. The link to the Compliance Videos is available from the left-hand navigation menu.

Don’t have access to InfoSight? Visit the NWCUA homepage, select Compliance from the top menu bar, and then select InfoSight. Visit the page and choose “request an account.” After you have submitted your information, we will review the request and approve you for access.

These videos are brought to you as part of the compliance service that NWCUA member credit unions enjoy.
