Sound Credit Union, a progressive-minded credit union is seeking an experienced Card Services Manager to join our team. While Sound’s Field of Membership serves the entire state of Washington, the primary service area of our 21 branches is in Pierce, King, Snohomish, Thurston counties, and surrounding Puget Sound communities. We currently possess a membership of 100,000, and assets in excess of $1 billion, placing us among the largest credit unions in the State of Washington.
The primary role of the Card Services Manager is to manage the daily activities of the Credit Union’s Visa Credit/Debit plastic card programs, both consumer and business. Develop and implement Visa Credit/Debit card operations policies and procedures ensuring they meet federal, state, and regulatory guidelines. Ensure that Visa Credit/Debit card operations adhere to the Credit Union’s financial and business strategies. Provide managerial leadership, guidance, coaching, motivation, and training to staff.
Qualified candidates must have a thorough understanding of Credit/Debit card processing functions; progressive experience in operations, plastic card management and deployment strategy, and project management; thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations applicable to the industry and Credit/Debit card process. Five years’ demonstrated experience in a managerial/leadership position in a financial institution. Bachelors’ Degree in Business or related field, or five years’ related experience and/or training. Must be bondable.
