Inslee Among Scheduled NWCUA Interviews with Key Washington Political Candidates

Jay Inslee, the Democratic candidate for governor in Washington, is one of several candidates for office in the state scheduled for an interview with NWCUA member credit unions and advocates during the first week of September.

On the heels of last week’s announcement that Washington Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob McKenna will speak at the Northwest Credit Union Association’s (NWCUA’s) Aug. 30 Washington Governmental Affairs Committee (GAC) meeting, the Association has officially scheduled interviews with several additional candidates on the fall ballot.

The interviews, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5, and Thursday, Sept. 6, in the NWCUA Training Room, located at 33301 9th Ave. S. in Federal Way, Wash., are open to all member credit unions. Attendance is encouraged and carries no cost, and lunch will be provided on Sept. 5.

The following agenda is in place for candidate interviews:

Wednesday, Sept. 5

10 a.m.  –   Troy Kelley, Democratic candidate for Washington state auditor
12 p.m.  –   Reagan Dunn, Republican candidate for Washington state attorney general
1 p.m.    –   Bob Ferguson, Democratic candidate for Washington state attorney general
2 p.m.    –   Suzan DelBene, Democratic candidate for Washington’s 1st Congressional District

Thursday, Sept. 6

8:30 a.m.  –   Jay Inslee, Democratic gubernatorial candidate for Washington
10 a.m.     –   John Koster, Republican candidate for Washington’s 1st Congressional District
