Our Community Credit Union is currently seeking a FT CFO. The primary function of this position is to direct, coordinate, maintain and control all aspects of the accounting department to properly reflect the financial position of the credit union. Job duties include (but not limited to) oversight and preparation of all financial statements, timely completion of financial and accounting records, preparation of analysis of operations for senior management, monitoring department policies and procedures. Oversees all aspects of budgeting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivables, asset and liability management, capital expenditures and assists CEO with investment of OCCU’s assets.
Functions as a member of the Senior Management Team and participates in establishing and implementing our major goals and strategic plans. Incumbent ensures the accurate (internal and external) reporting of financial transactions to Federal Authorities, internal and external auditors as needed. Assigns, directs and appraises the Accounting Staff.
Minimum of 10 years similar or related experience within the financial industry; a college degree and the ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
