Vice President Technology/Chief Information Officer

Sound Credit Union, a progressive-minded credit union is seeking an experienced VP Technology/CIO to join our Senior Management Team. While Sound’s Field of Membership serves the entire state of Washington, the primary service area of our 21 branches is in Pierce, King, Snohomish, Thurston counties, and surrounding Puget Sound communities. We currently possess a membership of 100,000, and assets in excess of $1 billion, placing us among the largest credit unions in the State of Washington.

We are seeking an individual who is service oriented, a “change agent,” and will bring a visionary approach and serve as an IT strategist and functional leader. This person will have a thorough understanding of how the IT function impacts the business process and be ROI focused; finding new ways to serve members and internal customers while focusing on managing budgets and processes to eliminate or reduce costs.

Experience will include seven years managing and/or directing an information technology operation, preferably in the financial institution industry, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.

We offer a professional work environment with a competitive salary and benefits plan. “Hire-in” range $8,750.00 – $11,667.00/mo DOE plus annual bonus of up to 25%.
