Member Service Officer II

iQ Credit Union is dedicated to provide a full complement of qualify financial services in a convenient, efficient, friendly, secure and profitable manner, which meets the needs of the membership.

We are currently accepting applications for our Member Service Officer II position.  The ideal candidate will actively support the Credit Union Core Values of People, Relationships, Integrity, Mutual Interests and Excellence.

Basic Essential Duties Include:

  • Accept and accurately process account and loan request in accordance with established Credit Union policies and guidelines.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the features and benefits of Credit Union services and of selling skills employing both to successfully cross-sell Credit Union services when assisting members in any capacity
  • Use skillful interview techniques in order to determine member needs and wants and successfully close sales.  Selling or service pressure is never exerted by staff.  It is exerted by members when they want or need the solution being recommended.
  • Trust, respect, and honesty provide the basis for long-term success with members.  Use these to successfully build long-term relationships with members by utilizing the Credit Union’s Member Management system to build and  maintain a personal book of business.
