Credit Union Compliance Specialist

Would you enjoy assisting staff and members with unique account situations and utilizing your project management skills to maintain the Credit Union’s disaster recovery/business continuity plan? If you have at least three years credit union or other financial institution experience and an understanding of products, services and processes, you may be interested in joining Rivermark Community Credit Union’s Compliance Team.
Our Compliance Specialist provides support to staff regarding compliance, operational and complex account questions, creates/updates account-related policies and procedures and maintains the Credit Union’s disaster recovery/business continuity plan. Your day may include assisting a branch employee with a unique member situation, coordinating a business continuity plan test or managing a project meeting.
We are looking for individuals that are detail-oriented, excellent problem solvers, independent decision makers and possess project management expertise. Specific experience with complex deposit account topics (NCUA insurance, living trusts, powers of attorney) and/or experience working on disaster recovery/business continuity planning preferred. Advanced computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat) a plus.
