St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead SHCU into a growth oriented future with enthusiasm and transparency. As the driver of the strategic goals set by the Board of Directors, the ideal candidate will be a leader possessing a balance of strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, and a passion for credit union philosophy. Able to successfully resolve conflicts and solve problems, the CEO is expected to lead teams with highly ethical guidance and an open, objective, management style.
Established in 1938, SHCU is a four branch credit union serving 15,000+ members. A financially sound community business leader, in addition to industry standard products and services, SHCU offers mortgage and commercial lending.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in business/finance, M B A or other applicable higher education degree; a combination of experience, education, and training will be considered. SHCU provides a competitive benefits package and salary commensurate with experience.
SHCU is located in Columbia County, a beautiful, growing, rural area north of Portland, OR. with all the convenience of the big city nearby and a slower pace of day to day living.
