If you are a young credit union professional interested in Crashing the upcoming America’s Credit Union Conference, CUNA’s Center for Professional Development is providing up to 15 scholarship opportunities. It’s “Crasher” season and the credit union community is gearing up for it like none before.
The deadline is tomorrow, May 9. So, don’t delay. Young credit union professionals interested in participating in this year’s Crash the ACUC should apply even if they aren’t sure they can go, yet. You can always refuse the scholarship.
Attendees of Crash the ACUC will have the opportunity to not only attend the America’s Credit Union Conference, but will also be a part of a Design Thinking Workshop returning to their credit union with a real-world problem along with the tools to implement the solution in their community.
The Thought Leader Series during the Conference includes sessions like Building the Credit Union of the Future, andWhat Makes the Generations Tick and What Ticks Them Off. The later is a presentation by Seattle’s Anna Liotta, an author and 2011 NWCUA Marketers Council presenter.
Anna integrates the crucial elements of communications, sociology, business psychology and demography to give savvy business leaders a competitive advantage to attract, grow and retain top talent and loyal customers in the context of four generations meeting in the workforce and marketplace. According to her this brings opportunities, challenges and unique perspectives never before seen.
Visit the America’s Credit Union Conference website for more information.
