Network Administrator

Sound Credit Union, a dynamic, progressive-minded state chartered credit union is seeking to fill a position in our Information Systems department. Sound Credit Union has over $1B in assets, a membership base of over 100,000, and 21 branches throughout King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Thurston counties.

This position is responsible for planning for and implementing upgrades, and maintaining software and hardware connected to the LAN (local area network) server and workstations. Evaluate and plan security initiatives to ensure best practices and regulatory requirements. Administer telecommunications systems and services. Interface with other branches and departments of the Credit Union, vendors, or consultants to resolve problems.

Qualified candidate must have 2+ years’ demonstrated experience in Network system hardware and software repairs, upgrades, installations, maintenance and troubleshooting. Demonstrated experience in analyzing technological alternatives, presenting solutions, and implementing solutions. Experience in LAN/WAN management. Must be bondable. Additional desired qualifications include; Associates Degree in Computer Science, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or equivalent certifications.

Please note: This position will be temporarily located in downtown Seattle through June of 2012, at which time the location will permanently move to downtown Tacoma.
