Accounting Representative/Cash Management

Sound Credit Union, a dynamic, progressive-minded state chartered credit union is seeking to fill a position in our Accounting department. Sound Credit Union has over $1B in assets, a membership base of over 100,000, and 21 branches throughout King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Thurston counties.

This position is responsible for cash management, incoming and outgoing wire transfers, reconciling various general ledger accounts, and researching and correcting various member account and/or clerical discrepancies.

Qualified candidate must have 2 plus years’ experience with cash management within a financial institution. Knowledge of Federal Reserve banking, expenditure and disbursement processes. Knowledge of financial institution accounting processes, procedures, services, and programs. Knowledge of basic principles and practices of professional accounting. Experience with developing, updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets. Must be bondable.
