Director of Member Relations – Job #3344

The Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) is seeking a highly motivated affiliation manager to serve as our Director of Member Relations.  NWCUA is a professional association in the financial industry with multiple mission driven subsidiaries.  The NWCUA is more than a trade association, it is an ally and an advocate; a vehicle driving credit unions to unite, build and flourish.

The primary responsibilities this position will oversee are:

  • Membership Affiliation – Management of all categories of the membership affiliation as well as the creation and implementation of a re-affiliation plan.
  • Member Relations Outreach – Coordinating and implementing programming in forums and venues that foster dialogue among credit union professionals, volunteers, association staff and those representing agencies and affiliates within the credit union community.
  • Membership Recognition – Developing programs to help recognize the membership.

We are seeking a unique individual with strong communications skills and membership experience.  This position requires a high level of initiative with the ability to work on a team and alone.  The perfect candidate will have at least 3 years in membership affiliation, be bold, intrepid, and have the ability to manage relationships.  Association management experience is a plus!
