The Idaho Credit Union League is searching for a Compliance & Government Affairs Specialist.
Provides counseling and guidance to credit unions in the areas of compliance, regulations and operations essential to the successful development of credit unions. Represents member credit unions in matters involving state and federal governments, with an overall objective to maintain a positive regulatory environment in which member credit unions can flourish.
Two years to five years of credit union mid-management or related experience.
Equivalent to a college degree.
The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.
An awareness of the state and national regulatory environment, as well as extensive knowledge of credit union law and philosophy, accounting practices and general business practices. Mid-management experience in a credit union is preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and feel comfortable making presentations before large and small groups.
