Convention Attendees Offered Chance to Win Free Marketing Consultation With Nationally-Recognized Expert

Credit union marketers who have worked hard publicizing webinars and other events only to be disappointed in attendance will benefit from two workshops being presented by nationally-recognized marketing expert Ron Rosenberg at the Northwest Credit Union Association’s (NWCUA) Convention and Annual Business Meeting.
Rosenberg finds that too many marketing presentations list the features, but not the benefits of the events. He promises workshop participants will see immediate results if they implement the best practices he will present at the Convention breakout sessions.
Outrageous Marketing: How to Dominate Your Market Niche is offered to Convention attendees on Sept. 21 at 1:30 p.m. The second in a series of “Outrageous Marketing” seminars, How to Create Outrageously Effective Marketing Materials, will be offered the following day at 2 p.m. Both Breakout Sessions will be held in Venice Room 1 at the Hotel Murano, the site of the convention.
Attendees of the second workshop will be entered into a drawing for a free customized consultation with Rosenberg.
“Our marketing makeover will help you to identify the areas that need improvement,” Rosenberg said of the interactive webinars that can be attended by entire marketing teams. “You can have the webinar in your own office and quickly come up with specific strategies you can implement to see immediate results.”
Rosenberg, founder of the Quality Talk Dynamic Learning programs, offers assurance that no one attending a marketing makeover will feel embarrassed, but believes instead that participants will learn in a fun, interactive environment.
“While everyone watches, I will evaluate the overall effectiveness of each example on your computer screen,” he said. “At the end of the program, you’ll have a marketing roadmap to help you maximize your efforts and get better results than you thought possible.”
Rosenberg has authored several marketing books, has been quoted in The New York Times and The Washington Post, and has been interviewed on ABC Radio and Dateline Washington.
Convention Friendraiser Offers Opportunity to Support Foundations
The Convention schedule is packed with breakout sessions, speakers and networking opportunities, offering attendees countless opportunities to enrich their work within the credit union movement. Through the joint Foundation Friendraiser Event, presented by both the Washington and Oregon Credit Union Foundations, Convention attendees are encouraged to help enrich their community—and to let their hair down with a night of fun and laughter in the company of friends and colleagues.
Scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 8-10 p.m., the event is free to all participating Convention registrants (with a small donation requested by our exhibitors to attend) and includes delectable desserts along with entertainment provided by singing impressionist/comedian Larry G. Jones. All proceeds benefit both the Oregon and Washington Credit Union Foundations.
The Friendraiser also includes the much-anticipated Silent Bottle Auction, which gives members a chance to win outstanding gift packages while supporting the Foundations. Prior to the event, participating donors place items inside of a decorated bottle (as to conceal the prize), provide a brief clue of the item, and submit their bottles at the Convention Registration Desk for bidding. The top five bottles with the highest values will be featured in the Foundations section of ‘The Lounge’ during the NWCUA Convention Trade Show.
