NWCUA Chapters Schedule September Meetings
September 8, 2011
September 8, 2011
With an eye on fostering a sense of collaboration and community within the credit union family, member credit unions of the Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) are organized into chapters. Each chapter is made up of credit unions based on geographic boundaries, which were determined by the NWCUA Board of Directors. Serving as a critical link between the NWCUA and the credit unions, chapters fill many roles, including voicing the views and concerns of local credit unions and providing a grassroots legislative link.
Upcoming chapter meetings include:
Central Oregon Chapter

Pierce County Chapter

The social will kick off at 5:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 6:30. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Washington Business Week:
Since 1976, Washington Business Week offers high-school students “Real-World Experience and Life-Changing Results.” There are two ways students can participate: the In-School Community Program or through a week-long Summer Program hosted on college campuses across the state. Students form a company while living in the dorms and experiencing the college environment. Business Week is the place students can preview college AND the career world at the same time. Washington Business Week and the Pathways are programs of the Foundation for Private Enterprise Education, a 501(c)(3) organization. Washington Business Week impacts over 3,000 teens a year from contributions made by businesses, service clubs, individuals and foundations. Your contribution inspires the youth of Washington State to create success in their lives, their future workplaces and communities.
Awards for Lifetime Achievement, Credit Union Professional of the Year, and Credit Union Volunteer of the Year will also be presented.
