Credit Union CEOs will have an opportunity to weigh in on pressing issues when Northwest Credit Union Association CEO John Annaloro and President Troy Stang hit the road for a two-week series of Town Hall meetings next week.
Annaloro and Stang first travel to Longview, Washington, where Fibre FCU will host a gathering of more than 20 credit union professionals Monday afternoon. A full schedule of the Town Hall Meetings and registration link are available online.
The regulatory challenges facing credit unions are always top of mind for industry leadership. The recent economic news presents additional challenges to the credit union movement.
Annaloro and Stang will share some strong news about Association membership’s effectiveness since the resources of the Washington Credit Union League and the Credit Union Association of Oregon merged resources. Association management will share information on successful lobbying efforts, hundreds of training opportunities which nearly 90 percent of the member credit unions are participating in, a high volume of contributions by the Foundations and updates on compliance and advocacy assistance provided by the Association.
