Advantis Credit Union has been ranked as the top credit union in the U.S. for returning financial value to members during the first quarter of 2011 by Callahan & Associates, a national research and consulting firm that analyzes credit union performance. Advantis was ranked first among 215 credit unions with assets between $500 million and $1 billion.
This marks the seventh time overall that Advantis has been ranked number one and the credit union consistently ranks in the top two percent in the nation in returning financial value to members.
“Our top priority is to create financial value for our member-owners and we were pleased to deliver on that commitment again last quarter, particularly during difficult economic times,” said Ron Barrick, Advantis President & CEO.
Advantis is one of Oregon’s largest member-owned financial cooperatives, with over 43,000 members and four branches in the Portland area. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or is a member of an organization in Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Hood River, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington or Yamhill counties in Oregon and anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in the state of Washington.
